About the Role
We are seeking a Corporate Support and Marketing Manager to join our team in Canberra on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position that will play a vital role in enhancing our organisational communications and supporting our corporate operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing integrated marketing communications strategies whilst providing essential corporate support to ensure the smooth functioning of our diocesan services. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on how we communicate our values and mission to our community and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and executing comprehensive marketing communications strategies that align with Anglican Diocesan Services' mission and objectives
- Creating, managing and distributing engaging content across multiple channels, including digital platforms, print materials and social media
- Managing the organisation's brand identity and ensuring consistent messaging across all communications
- Coordinating and supporting corporate events, conferences and community engagement initiatives
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to understand communications needs and translate these into effective campaigns and materials
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of marketing communications initiatives and reporting on key performance metrics
- Managing relationships with external partners, media organisations and community groups
- Providing administrative and organisational support to senior leadership and corporate functions
- Maintaining and updating corporate databases, records and documentation systems
- Supporting the preparation of reports, presentations and strategic documents for leadership and governance bodies
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing communications, corporate communications or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft clear, compelling messages for diverse audiences
- Proficiency in developing digital marketing strategies and managing social media platforms
- Experience with content creation, including copywriting, graphic design concepts or multimedia production
- Demonstrated project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and marketing management tools or content management systems
- A collaborative approach to working with colleagues across different departments and levels
- Understanding of stakeholder engagement and community communications principles
- Ideally, some familiarity with not-for-profit, faith-based or community sector communications would be advantageous
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related discipline is preferred
